Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between highlighting and a balayage?

Highlighting involves the use of foils strategically placed between sections of natural hair whereas a balayage is hand-painted hair technique that does not use hair foils. The difference in results? A balayage typically yields much more natural, sun-kissed highlights.

What is a color correction? Will I need one?

There are many different types of color correction. One of the most common types is getting darker hair much lighter. Especially if you have box-dye in your hair (which while inexpensive in the moment - ends up being much more expensive in the long run!), your hair may lift unevenly or reddish/orange toned. Some color corrections take longer than others depending on what is required. This is why our salon always requires consultations before scheduling a color correcting appointment.

I just need the ends of my hair trimmed - will I be charged the same as a haircut?

Because we are charging based on the amount of movements we make with our scissors - not the length of hair being cut - hair trims are considered the same as a haircut in regards to pricing. Bang trims, however, are conplimentary for a stylist's returning client.

I'm getting married and need bridal services! Can I just call the salon and schedule my services?

All bridal parties inquiring about bridal services are REQUIRED to fill out an intake form. This is because of the large volume of bridal inquiries we recieve every year. This also helps us narrow down what services you need for how many people and pricing quotes. Bridal pricing is also different from our typical service pricing. Please fill out an intake form here. Because of our large volume, we respond in accordance to who has reached out first, meaning those who are reaching out last-minute may take a few days for a response.

What is the cancellation policy?

We require a credit card on file to book an appointment. If your scheduled appointment is rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the service cost. If you do not show up to an appointment, you will be charged 100% of the services. The enforcement of our policy resides with the sheduled stylist.

I'm running late for my appointment! Can I still come for my scheduled service?

Because our time is so precious and we want the best experience for our clientele, clients running more than 15 minutes behind will be asked to reschedule and will need to pay a no show fee which is 100% of the service.
